Carla Gemma Trutnau (Caccavale)

Owner and Principal Vocalist

I’ve been singing since the age of 4.  My professional singing career began at the age of 15 when I was asked to sing for a wedding and continued to perform at weddings and various charitable events, such as a local oldies dance to benefit MDA every year and St. Jude’s Hospital.  Several auditions on Broadway, The Voice, America’s Got Talent and Don’t Forget the Lyrics, brought me to a “big break” in December 2003, when I was chosen to sing the National Anthem at the Meadowlands (currently Izod Center) for the Nets vs Knicks games. From there, I continued freelancing and joined “The Happening” with whom I performed at Foxwood’s Atrium and Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den.  Additionally, I sang lead vocals in the bands Nu Groove, Shameless and Mike Acoustic Band.

To supplement band gigs, I have made the “National Anthem” my “claim to fame” as I perform at many various sports and charity/military events throughout the State of Connecticut.

“Few singers can seamlessly mesh raw power and true fragility in their vocals the way Carla Gemma Caccavale does each time she takes to the mic. Beyond her commanding vocal abilities, she exudes a sense of ease and sincerity with her stage presence, that instantly captures her audience.”
